We believe that gathering for corporate worship is essential for the Christian life.

If you and your family are planning to join us on a Sunday morning, here is what you can expect:

We value expository preaching, which means that we try to make sure that our preaching is shaped by the Bible rather than bending and distorting the Bible to fit with our preconceived ideas. Our sermons are typically 45 minutes long, give or take.

We intentionally devote ourselves to the public reading of the Scriptures (1 Tim. 4:13) at the outset of our service, during our time of Confession, and at the close of the service. Similarly, we include prayer at several points during the service (Acts 2:42, 2 Cor. 1:11)

Our music teams intentionally select songs - both new and old - comprised of biblically-sound and Christ-centered lyrics, leading us to exalt the One who is head over all (1 Chron. 29:11).

Every week we welcome members of Hill City Baptist and members of other local churches who are visiting to participate in the Lord's Supper. It is through this meal together that we remember and proclaim the Lord's death until He comes (1 Cor. 11:26).

Children are welcome to remain with their parents for the entirety of the service.

We also offer children's ministry for two age groups:

  1. Nursery (ages 3 and under)
  2. Older children (ages 4 and up):

Both of these programs begin partway through the service in order for our littlest members to participate in the corporate worship with the rest of the congregation.
