In the sermon "Delighting in God's Word", we looked at Psalm 1 and how it defines the righteous man as one who meditates on the word of God day and night. Here are some practical suggestions to help you as you prayerfully commit to take in more of God's word in order to be shaped by it and bear much fruit.

30 Day Bible Reading Plan

For the next month, pick a shorter book and read it everyday. Pick a key section of text from the book and memorize it. Tip: Write the verses on a cue card and put it in your pocket for easy access.


Ephesians (takes approximately 24 min to read) Key Verse: Eph 2:1-10
Galatians (22 min) Gal 5:1, Gal 5:13-14
1 John (21 min) 1 Jn 4:7-21, 1 Jn 5:13
1 Peter (17 min) 1 Peter 1:3-9, 1 Peter 5:6-11
Philippians (16 min) Phil 2:1-11
Colossians (15 min) Col 1:13-23
1 Thessalonians (14 min) 1 Thess 3:12-13, 1 Thess 5:23-24
Titus (6 min) Titus 2:11-14
