"Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:2
1. What is the grace of God? Grace is a word that we use a lot, but perhaps we've grown cold to the reality of God's grace. Read some scriptures together, and consider what the Grace of God is.
2. Functionally, it's easy for us to live as if we have not received the grace of God. One way is to live as though what we do (or don't do) for God is how we are justified before him. The other way is to live in despair over our sin, forgetting it's only by Grace we are saved. What ditch do we tend to fall in personally?
3. If we receive the Grace of God, we have peace with God. How does that change our relationship to Him? Do we live each day with the reminder that there is no longer hostility between us and God if we are in Christ? Do we live out of the favor of our Father?
